I have been in real estate since 1977 and have loved every year of it!! In 2009 my daughter, Crystal Billey and I have teamed up to assist buyers and sellers in both residential and commercial real estate needs.
Crystal and I believe strongly in giving back to the community we serve. So to do that we have been proud to provide Cranbrook and this community the beautiful SPIRIT TREE located in Spirit Square right across from the Realty Executives Cranbrook Agencies office on Baker Street. Please take the time to read below what the meaning of the Spirit Tree is to fully appreciate the fantastic vision of the artist who took our ideas, then transformed those expressions so perfectly into the most delightful art form called the SPIRIT TREE. Commissioned by: Sharron Billey Holdings Ltd to commemorate Cranbrook Agencies Real Estate's 100 years of continuous business on Baker Street
~~Artistic Description ~~
The Spirit Tree Sculpture represents the life, strength, growth and diversity; or the “spirit” of our community which is Cranbrook.
There are two types of branches in the tree. Those that are artistic representation of spirit, (winding) and others that are closer to actual branches (straight). Though all these branches are of different shapes, sizes and directions, they are still all connected to each other and are unified at the trunk. The branches are the individuals and the trunk is the City of Cranbrook which holds us all together.
The spheres at the ends of the branches are the fruit of Cranbrook’s citizens working and living together. These spheres are reflective so that those observing the tree can see themselves reflected in the sculpture and therefore a part of the community of Cranbrook.
